Actress Kajol has indirectly targeted filmmaker Karan Johar saying that some people misuse honesty to sell their books, movies and ratings. The tale of Kajol and Karan’s sour relationship is known to all after the latter talked about it in his autobiography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’.
Recently, when Kajol was asked by a leading daily to reveal her side of the story. The lady, who has maintained dignified silence on the matter in the past, stated that staying silent would be the best thing. However, taking an indirect jibe at the ace director, Kajol said that many people misuse honesty to sell their books and movies.
Karan recently became father of two twins Yash and Roohi and many Bollywood celebrities visited to see his kids but when Kajol was asked if she would meet Karan’s kids, she avoided the question.
It all started when Karan’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ clashed at the box-office. Karan revealed the details in his autobiography saying that Kajol ended their 25 years long friendship and they can never become friends again. He even stated that Kajol’s husband Ajay never mattered to him. Although, Karan said a lot but Kajol kept mum during that time. Now, it seems that she is taking an indirect path to express her views on the issue.
Before all these controversies, both Kajol and Karan were good friends and had worked in many films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’.
