After weaving magic with the 2012 movie ‘Kahaani’, the team is back with another thriller. This time actress Vidya Balan plays the role of a fugitive Durga Rani Singh and the trailer gives a sneak peek to her messed up life.
A look at the trailer of 'Kahaani 2' confirms that this could be another winner performance by Vidya. Vidya’s haggard look makes this trailer intriguing right from the start. The trailer starts off with her meeting an accident in her bid to save a girl Mini.
After the accident leaves her in coma, her case is handled by inspector played by Arjun Rampal. It seems the movie will revolve around Arjun’s attempt to unravel Durga Rani’s life. It is during the process that the inspector learns that the lady in coma wants to save the life of a small girl.
The trailer is full of moments capable of making your eyes gauge out. From blasts to action to emotions; the two minutes long video perfectly plays out.

Like the first movie, it would not be wrong to think that maybe this time too Vidya is creating a story for a bigger cause. However, the trailer’s tagline ‘This time the truth lies in her story’, begs to differ.
It goes without saying that the expectations from this movie are already sky high. Cine lovers would like if the makers give them another movie to sing praises for.
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie will release on 2nd December.
