New Delhi: Director Kabir Khan is in Pakistan and his trip made it to national news today. The celebrity was heckled at Karachi Airport with a few people shouting anti slogans for him, condemning him for making a movie like ‘Phantom’.
Amidst all the hatred being spread, Kabir Khan ensured that he hoisted flags of love. During his Pak visit, Kabir met journalist Chand Nawab. Chand Nawab was the role played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Kabir’s super hit directorial ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ gave a new ray of hope to citizens of both the nations. The movie narrated the story of a simpleton Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi on way to reunite a mute girl Shahida with her parents in Pakistan.
The movie was a blockbuster and was welcomed by critics too. Post Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kabir took a stark turn with Phantom in which he highlighted the issues burning between India and Pakistan.
The movie was banned in Pakistan and it became a reason for today’s controversy. Kabir Khan later in the day tweeted that such elements in the society should be ignored.
