New Delhi: Being fit and in shape, for the good or the bad, has become a pre-requisite to make it successful in the film and television industry. Lately, we have read many posts of actresses speaking about losing weight, be it Parineeti Chopra or Zarine Khan.
Now joining the list is once popular TV actress Juhi Parmar. Juhi, who shot to stardom with ‘Kumkum’ and also went on to win Bigg Boss 5, has lost 17kgs and is all ready to make a comeback.
Speaking about her weight loss, Juhi told a leading daily,
“I am happy about facing the camera again without worrying how I will look.”

Juhi will be seen in Siddharth Kumar Tewary‘s show ‘Shani’, where she’s playing the lead’s mother. On why she was way from screen for a quite long time, Juhi said,
“I was offered several shows, but being a hands-on mother, I wanted my child to grow up enough to understand that she has a working mom. I was always dedicated to my work, but the need of the hour was to show the same dedication towards my daughter.”
On choosing a mythological show, Juhi said,
“Why not a mythological show? I have not attempted the genre earlier. I didn't want to repeat myself and this character allows me to experiment a new dimension, both in terms of performance and appearance. I know I will also be asked why I agreed to play a mother, but that is something which viewers will get to know after watching the show. Besides, gods don't age!”
