John, who got married to Priya in 2014, shared that the thought of having children has crossed their mind several times.

"We have thought about it (extending family). Right now, I’m just concentrating on setting my systems right in my workplace,” John said in a statement.

“I have a football team - Northeast United FC, so one thing that I have on my head, and I have my production house, I also am doing films as an actor. So, there are a lot of things happening right now in my life that are taking a lot of time in my life,”

The actor said that at present his focus is getting “those systems right".

"Once systems are in place, then you can look elsewhere. Right now, it’s just about getting those systems right,"

John stressed.

The "Dhoom" star spoke about his married life and future plans during an appearance in an episode of the fourth season of “The Tara Sharma” show, hosted by actress Tara Sharma.

The episode will telecast on Sunday on Star World and Star World HD.

John also explained how children are a huge responsibility and one needs to really be ready to be able to raise a child.

“You can’t plan too much but I think you must have children only if you’re ready to be a hands-on parent. Otherwise don’t have children. You need to have children if you want to have the joy of parenthood and you want to bring up someone with a lot of love and care,"

he said.
