Bollywood hunk John Abraham, whose latest release ‘Dishoom’ is making big bucks at the box office, said that he enjoys working with heroes as compared to heroines in the movies.

Speaking to reporters at the success party of ‘Dishoom’, John said that he likes being around with men and shares good bond with co-stars Akshay, John and Varun.

“How many heroines we have in the industry? We have more heroes today. So I am doing bromance with them. I am comfortable around men and I like it…not in a wrong way. It’s about bonding and I get along well with Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Varun Dhawan,” said John.

Interestingly, John has worked with Akshay in ‘Garam Masala, Desi Boyz and Housefull 3 and their on-screen tuning amazed the audiences. Then, his pairing with Abhishek Bachchan in ‘Dostana’ was loved by one and all.

And now, his bromance with Varun Dhawan in latest outing ‘Dishoom’ has also been appreciated by the audience and critics alike.

At the event, film director Rohit Dhawan also opened up about Akshay Kumar’s homosexual sequence in the movie and the sole purpose behind it.

Rohit said, “That role was always there in the film. It’s just a comedy scene, but the scene has a deep meaning. That scene was written in a certain way. In our country we think that a homosexual is not as strong as a straight man is”.

“In our country we have athletes, who are gay men and getting Akshay Kumar symbolises that he is a homosexual in the film, but he overpowers the two men (John and Varun) in the film. We have shown homosexual is stronger than straight men,” he added.

Interestingly, Rohit Dhawan also said that he will cast Akshay Kumar in a big role if there turns out to be any sequel to John and Varun starrer ‘Dishoom’ in the future.
