A lot of anticipation rested on Imtiaz Ali’s next which features Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead. After dropping a number of titles, the filmmakers have finally zeroed to one- Jab Harry Met Sejal. This title takes us back to Imtiaz Ali’s 2007 hit Jab We Met. After creatinbg much with mini trails, the first song of the film will be launched soon. However, there is a catch. Shah Rukh will release the films first song, titled Radha in Ahmedabad in the presence of a few girls named Sejal.
The makers of the Imtiaz Ali directorial had initiated a contest that would result in the actor visiting the city that has the majority of girls named Sejal -- Anushka's character in the film, read a statement.While Ahmedabad emerged as the winner, Shah Rukh will visit the city on Wednesday to meet the girls and to release the first track of the film.
A new Jab Harry Met Sejal poster was released yesterday. In the poster, both the actors were seen as care free souls. SRK tweeted, “Well, they have all agreed to be my Radha! Do you? @AnushkaSharma @RedChilliesEnt #RadhaComingTomorrow.”
This is SRK and Anushka’s third film together. Both the actors earlier shared the screen space in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Three mini trailers of the film have already been released and showcased the beautiful chemistry between the two stars. Jab Harry Met Sejal is a romantic comedy that will feature Shah Rukh as a play boy whereas Anushka will be seen playing an innocent Gujarati girl.
The film stars Shah Rukh as a Punjabi, named Harinder Singh Nehra. It is slated to release on August 4.
