Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have inevitably been one of the hottest couples in the industry, both off and on screen. Their overwhelming gestures towards each other have often narrated their love story and it looked like the couple is irrevocably in love with each other.
But, looks like the honeymoon period of Ranveer-Deepika’s love affair has come to an end, as their relationship is said to have hit a rough patch.
If the media reports are to be believed, Singh has decided to call off his relationship with DP.
While this may come as a rude shock to their fans, but it is said that Ranveer is quite miffed with Padukone’s lack of enthusiasm regarding their love life.
We all know how expressive Ranveer Singh is and that he has often worn his heart on the sleeves. The actor hasn’t left any stone unturned to express his feelings for his lady love. In fact, he was seen proudly singing praises about Deepika’s upcoming Hollywood debut movie ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ on social media.
But unlike the romantic actor, Deepika has always been reserved about her relationship, which seems to have irked Singh now.
Apparently, everyone across the world has been brimming with opinions about Singh’s upcoming movie ‘Befikre’ except his lady Deepika. The trailer of the movie was recently launched on a grand scale at Eiffel tower in Paris and has won rave reviews from everyone. But Padukone neither wrote anything about the movie on social media nor did she say anything about it.
Ranveer is reportedly agitated over the fact the Deepika isn’t reciprocating to his career achievements at all and he even expressed his displeasure to the actress as well.
While the reports are rife that the couple will soon call it quits, Ranveer’s spokesperson has vehemently refuted the reports.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that the reports of Ranveer-Deepika’s split have been doing the rounds. Rumours of trouble in their paradise surfaced earlier this year, but reports were rubbished after Ranveer flew to Canada to surprise his lady love on the Valentine’s Day. Deepika was shooting for ‘xXx’ there. Later, she too went on to spend some quality time with her beau in Paris, who was busy shooting for ‘Befikre’ in the locales.
We wonder, if this time too the reports of their break-up are mere rumours or there is something more to it.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will soon be sharing screen space in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ which also features Shahid Kapoor.
While Ranveer will be seen as antagonist Allauddin Khilji in the movie, Shahid will portray Padmavati’s husband Raja Rawal Ratan.
The shooting of the periodical drama is reported to commence in November and the movie is expected to release in 2017.
