Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's 23-year-old niece Zayn Khan is busy honing her acting skills these days as she wishes to be an actor.
Zayn is the daughter of Aamir's cousin Mansoor Khan, who is famous for directing 1992 Aamir-starrer super hit film ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ and has also helmed other box office hits like ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and ‘Josh’.
Recently, Mansoor was quoted as saying in a leading daily that Zayn has assisted noted Bollywood director Karan Johar in 'Kapoor & Sons' and wants to become an actor.
He added that, “At present, she is honing her acting skills. I have told her acting doesn't necessarily mean playing the heroine, so she is not under any illusion. I am sure she will find her way in this industry."
Zayn did her schooling from a private school in Kotagiri, near Coonoor and then got graduated in literature from Stella Maris College in Chennai.
Mansoor, who is believed to be media-shy person, is in city for the Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander reunion at the ongoing Mumbai Film Festival.
If reports are to be believed, Mansoor, who gave up making films to become a cheese farmer, will make a comeback in Bollywood to launch his daughter Zayn.
