Inder Kumar’s last rites performed in Mumbai; actor died due to cardiac arrest on Friday

According to the reports, Inder Kumar suffered cardiac arrest at his Andheri residence around 2 am on Friday.

Inder Kumar's last rites performed in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Inder Kumar who has worked in several movies with superstar Salman Khan breathed his last on Friday early morning. According to the reports, the actor suffered cardiac arrest at his Andheri residence around 2 am on Friday. The actor has acted in a number of movies alongside Salman Khan, like Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye, Tumko Na Bhool Payenge, Wanted, etc. He was working for his next film Phati Padi Hay Yaar. The actor’s cremation has been held on Friday evening at Yaari Road Shamshaan Bhoomi in Mumbai. From the film fraternity, Ayyub Khan, Deepak Qazir, Tina Ghai and Dolly Bindra were present during his last rites. 

Inder Kumar was also seen in Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi where he acted as Akshay Kumar’s brother. He was said to be very close to Salman Khan as the duo shared the screen space a number of times on silverscreen. Many celebrities in Bollywood were shocked by the sudden demise of the actor. A number of condolences poured in on Twitter on Friday following his death. The actor was not suffering from any disease, thus his sudden death shocked everyone. The actor is survived by a wife and a daughter.

Inder Kumar marked the beginning of his film career in 1996 in Masoom. He had done 20 movies till 2011. He also appeared on small screen in Ekta Kapoor’s popular TV show Kyunki...Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Mihir Virani for a short span of time. He was later replaced by Ronit Roy. He also featured in a horror TV Show Fear Files. 

In 2014, Inder Kumar was arrested for alleged rape of a woman. He was granted bail few months later.
