We were totally smitten by the simplicity of the actress in that white Manish Malhotra traditional ensemble. She kept it minimal and that’s what set the Udta Punjab-actress apart from the rest.
As valid as it seems, Alia Bhatt bags the Myntra Style Icon Awards at IIFA 2017 and we couldn’t be happier. Forget everything, but this title is something that she deserves by all means. Look at the dress she was wearing while receiving the award. Young women can draw inspiration from her on how to dress in the most casual yet elegant manner. She was wearing a quirky denim jacket over a hot a pink crop top. Her distressed jean was all that was adding charms to her attire. Alia is quite adept at nailing the minimalistic look. She kept it simple and wore zero accessories and bare makeup. Her half-up half-down hairstyle was looking spot on for her attire.
While talking about IIFA 2017, one thing is for sure that Alia Bhatt has came out as a deserving fashion winner for the year. Right from the white traditional attire to a Zuhair Murad black shimmery gown. Poetically defining her ensembles, it seems like the moon has wrapped a night sky full of stars around it. It won’t be an overstatement to say that. Look at it for yourself. One can’t stop oneself from losing their heart to this extraordinarily beautiful gown.
Also, Alia revealed in her caption that she always dreamt to wear a Zuhair Murad gown and so her dream came true at IIFA 2017.
Last night, she shared a picture on her Instagram account with the ace designer Prabal Gurung, while wearing a Prabal Gurung off-shoulder gown. This gown holds resemblance to the one Huma Qureshi wore at IIFA day 2.
Alia Bhatt flipped from quirky to traditional at IIFA Rocks Green Carpet. She went all chic and laid-back in Masaba Gupta denim creation and then flipped to the traditional desi-girl in Manish Malhotra white dress with embroidery art and thread work.
She rocked the IIFA press conference in a black and white bold striped strapless gown designed by Sachin and Babi. She paired it up with a metallic stiletto by Asos. Her hair were kept wavy and loose by hairstylist Purshottam Hans.
Alia Bhatt was truly a rockstar and deserved the ‘Style Icon’ title at IIFA 2017.
