Hrithik Roshan starrer revenge drama ‘Kaabil” has collected a decent Rs 79.60 crore in seven days. Even though the film got only 40% screen share, Kaabil is doing comparatively well. The film earned Rs 6.04 crore on Monday and Rs 6.01 crore on Tuesday, according to early estimates.

This is not a bad figure for a film that completes its first week at theaters that too when it is competing with Shah Rukh Khan’s “Raees, which released on the same day.

The film industry and trade analysts alike were tad worried about two big ticket films clashing at the theatres. However, the good news is that both movies have managed to hold their ground and make their presence felt at the box-office.

The Rakesh Roshan production has received glowing reviews from critics and now, the box-office figures prove that it has won the audience's hearts too. Hrithik, in particular, has won tremendous appreciation for his portrayal of a visually-challenged man.

One of the highlights of the film is stunning performances by its cast including Hrithik Roshan, Ronit Roy, Rohit Roy and others. Yami Gautam lent good support too. Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Gupta are working for the first time in "Kaabil".

What works in favour of both 'Kaabil' and 'Raees' is that there is no big Bollywood release slated for the coming weekend. The Hrithik and Yami Gautam starrer will enjoy an open window at the theaters during its second weekend.
