Actor Hrithik Roshan has reportedly opted out of Sidharth Anand’s ‘Fighter’, which was said to be his next movie after ‘Kaabil’. It is the second movie after ‘Thug’ from which the actor has pulled off.
It seems Mohenjo Daro’s debacle and two back to back flops have affected Hrithik and he might have taken this decision under the influence. The star is playing safe at the moment and did not want another flop in his name. Sidharth’s last film was ‘Bang Bang’ which was a flop, and this could be the reason why Hrithik said no the director.
Hrithik, was, reportedly, impressed with the story and scale of the film but the script didn’t satisfy him.
Is 'Kaabil' shoot on hold because of Hrithik Roshan? Here’s what Yami Gautam has to say!
As per a source quoted by an entertainment portal, Anand had approached Sajid Nadidwala to produce the movie but he turned down the offer. Following which, the ‘Bang Bang’ star apparently decided to opt out of the project as well.
Hrithik was supposed to play an IAF pilot in the flick and his role involved some aerial stunts too. And everyone was quite excited for the project when it was revealed but not anymore.
Now, he is waiting for his father Rakesh Roshan to complete the script for Krrish 4 and that will be the film he will be doing after Kaabil.
The shooting for Kaabil is currently going on and is expected to wrap up this month. The movie will hit the screens on January 26 alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’.
