After winning millions of hearts with his spectacular dancing and acting skills, actor Hrithik Roshan is all set to add on another feather to his cap. As per the recent buzz, the actor will be seen donning the hat of a director.
Hrithik’s father Rakesh also confirmed the news to a leading daily, saying “Hrithik surely will direct a film, although I can’t say when.”
Rakesh also accentuated that Hrithik has been taking the training of direction for a long time as he had assisted his father in several movies much before he made his big Bollywood debut with ‘Kaho Na… Pyar Hai’ in 2000.
Given his immense interest in direction, the actor was also said to be curious about behind the camera technicalities even during the shooting of his upcoming movie ‘Kaabil’. However, he didn’t interfere in Sanjay Gupta’s direction.
Daddy Rakesh, who is also the producer of ‘Kaabil’, clarified that he along with Hrithik worked with Sanjay with a collaborative spirit as the three of them were on the same page. Roshan also averred that there weren’t any ego clashes during the shooting of the movie.
“I went to the sets only on the first day to give the first ‘clap’. After that it was Sanjay Gupta’s baby”, he said.
Besides, Rakesh is also proud of Hrithik’s professional achievements and said that people will witness Hrithik’s calibre of being a good actor in ‘ Kaabil’.
“Just look at how many different characters he has portrayed in a short span of time”, senior Roshan added.
‘Kaabil’ also starring Yami Gautam opposite Hrithik, will have the lead pair playing the role of a visually impaired couple.
The movie will also have Hrithik doing some breath-taking action sequences, which wasn’t a cake walk for the actor.
Duggu had earlier confessed that action scenes in ‘Kaabil’ was no less than a herculean task as he didn’t know where to look during the shot.
‘Kaabil’ is scheduled to release on January 26, 2017 and will have a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s much awaited ‘Raees’.
