Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is one of the finest actors Bollywood has ever had. He has time and again shown his mettle at acting by portraying different roles.
Now, Hrithik Roshan has donned a new hat by essaying the role of real-life mountaineer Arjun Vajpai in an ad campaign.
"Arjun is a true inspiration. It is my privilege to partner with Mountain Dew to bring his story to life on the screen. I salute his courage and wish him luck as he gets set to conquer Mount Kangchenjunga," Hrithik said in a statement. The ad is part of Mountain Dew's Risk Takers of India campaign.
Arjun Vajpai is the third-youngest Indian to climb Mount Everest having achieved this feat before reaching the age of 17 in 2010.
In 2016, Arjun successfully scaled Mount Cho Oyu - the sixth highest mountain in the world. Located on the Nepal-Tibet border, Cho Oyu is 8,188 metres above sea level.
This was the fifth ‘eight-thousander’, which Arjun scaled in last six years. There are 14 mountains on earth that are more than 8000 metres above sea level and are known commonly known as eight-thousanders. All are located in the Karakoram and Himalayan mountain ranges.
