New Delhi: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming movie ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is grabbing a lot of attention. Its recently released trailer stunned everyone and is getting rave views from the audience.
But while the audience is waiting eagerly for the movie to hit theatres and is expecting it to be a huge hit, music composer A. R. Rahman recent confession about ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is quite contradictory.
During a recent ‘Mohenjo Daro’ event, Music composer A. R. Rahman confessed that his first thought about Hrithik Roshan was that it would be a ‘boring’ historical documentary.
“Initially when you said 'Mohenjo Daro' I thought it's going to be like a historic documentary, it's going to be so boring,” Rahman said.
“But then when you showed me all the pictures, it really inspired me. So I was trying to go to that zone and unearth with my imagination,” he added.
Well, his magic is already doing wonders, as one of the songs from the movie ‘Tu Hai’, which is sung my Rahman himself, is topping the chartbusters.
In fact, he also sang a melodious song ‘Tu Hai’ a promotional event for the film.
This is not the first time that Rahman has composed music for Hrithi-Ashutosh’s collaboration. The legendary music director had given music to ‘Jodha Akbar’ as well.
Also starring Pooja Hegde in the lead role, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is an epic adventure-romance, set in the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro, now in Pakistan's Sindh province in the era of the Indus Valley civilisation that dates back to 2600 BC.
‘Mohenjo Daro’ is slated to release on August 12.
