Hrithik Roshan, who was last seen in the film Kaabil in 2017, is leaving no stone untouched in preparing for his role in upcoming film Super 30. The Bollywood’s Greek God is playing the character of the Bihar-based mathematician, Anand Kumar in the biopic. Shedding off his otherworldly good looks, Hrithik has boldly de-glamed himself for Vikas Bahl’s film. Some pictures from Super 30 sets featuring Hrithik Roshan is doing the rounds and, we can’t help but stare in awe at the actor’s transformation as Anand Kumar.
Dressed in a blue shirt, Hrithik is seen sporting a thin moustache, standing on a boat. The actor is also seen carrying a backpack.
In another picture shared by Hrithik Roshan fan pages, the 44-year-old actor is seen donning a pink shirt and looking like a common simpleton.
While talking about Hrithik’s look in the film, Anand Kumar told a leading daily, “I was delighted and pleasantly surprised to see the first look wherein Hrithik sports a rugged, bearded look. I had been told that at present the shooting was being done of my college days. I took out an old photograph of mine, of the time when I was studying at Patna University. I found the resemblance to be uncanny.”
Super 30 first look was revealed earlier this month on Twitter by Hrithik Roshan. He has been spending time in UP to get into the skin of the character. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “And the journey begins...#Super30”.
Super 30 is a biopic of Anand Kumar, who dedicated his life teaching the underprivileged students for the IIT entrance exam. The Patna-based teacher shot to fame for tutoring the IIT aspirants from the less-fortunate factions of society. The film is slated to release on January 25, 2019.
