A new poster of Rani Mukerji’s film Hichki has come out on Saturday. In the picture, Rani as an enthusiastic teacher is sitting, lost in her dreams. The school kids are indulged in their usual antics in the backdrop of the poster. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the new poster along with the caption, “New poster of #Hichki...Stars Rani Mukerji... Siddharth P Malhotra directs... Produced by Maneesh Sharma... Presented by Aditya Chopra... 23 March 2018 release."
Rani Mukerji is making a comeback on silverscreen after a sabbatical of three years with YRF’s Hichki. Her fans are excited to see their favourite 90’s actress casting her spell once again on the celluloid. However, they will have to wait for some more time as the film’s official release date has been shifted to 23rd March. Earlier, it was scheduled to release on February 23. Citing the exam period, the makers deferred the release of Hichki.
The film depicts the life of a common girl played by the 'Mardani' star, who has a nervous system disorder called, Tourette Syndrome that forces people who are suffering from it to make repetitive movements or sounds, involuntarily.
In other words, 'Hichki' is about the positive attitude of turning one's weakness into strength, and hence taking challenges head-on.
The film is helmed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma. The film is slated to hit the screens on March 23.
