Actress Anushka Sharma received positive response from movie buffs after her look from her upcoming production venture Pari was released and the actress want people to always expect the unconventional from her. In the Pari poster, Anushka was looking scary that indicated that the film is a horror or thriller. But, the gorgeous lady said that Pari can’t be defined as one genre. In Bollywood, few films with horror genres have worked but Anushka doesn’t agree with it and believes that genre is not explored well till now.
While talking to a leading daily, Anushka revealed that she likes to work in the film because as a viewer she also liked that kind of a genre. She added that in India people love to watch horror movies and this genre has a potential. Anushka believes that horrors films are not only about ghosts in closets and they are much more than this.
The lady as a producer has always come up with content driven films. NH10 and Phillauri did decent business at the box office. It is yet to be seen if Pari turns out to be equally interesting as its poster.
On a related note, Anushka will next be seen in Jab Harry Met Sejal opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie is slated to release on August 4.
