Actor Prabhas is one of the most loved celebrities of the silver screen. After the grand success of Baahubali and Baahubali 2, speculations were rife that filmmaker Karan Johar may soon launch the star in Bollywood. But, latest reports suggest that the ace director has dropped this plan and the reason will leave you in shock. Rumours are rife that the actor has demanded Rs 20 cr which is unrealistic to expect in Bollywood.
A source revealed to a leading that after the success of Baahubali 2, Karan was keen to launch the actor but due to his staggering fee, KJo has dropped the plan. DNA quoted a source as saying, “Prabhas had devoted five years of his life to the two Baahubali films and it was only fair that he would want to cash in on his new success.”
The source added, “Prabhas has clearly out-priced himself from Bollywood. After Baahubali and its sequel, Karan was keen to launch Prabhas in Hindi cinema. But on seeing the price he was asking, Karan has decided to abandon the idea of launching him.”
Well, this indeed comes as bad news for all those who were rooting for Prabhas’s Bollywood debut. On a related note, the actor will next be seen in Saaho alongside Shraddha Kapoor. Directed by Sujeeth, the movie is all set to hit the screens next year.
