Filmmaker Karan Johar celebrated New Year with the lovely couple Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput on his popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’. The episode was a treat to movie buffs as people were curious to know about the personal life of the actor who had an arranged marriage with the commoner. Needless to say, both Shahid and Mira live up to their fans’ expectations. The lady, who appeared for the first time on small screen, tackled Karan’s questions like a boss. Along with Shahid and Mira’s chemistry, the last episode was obsessed with Twinkle Khanna. When the ace director asked the pretty lady about her Bollywood crush, she took Twinkle Khanna’s name. Karan, who also had a huge crush on Akshay’s wife, joined her, but a more interesting thing was revealed by Shahid. The actor said that he used to stalk Twinkle during his childhood days.
Can love happen after marriage? The answer is yes. Both Shahid and Mira fell in love after getting hitched. Mira revealed that she is head over heels with her husband and both of them came close during her pregnancy.
The actor revealed about his first meeting with Mira saying that his mother-in-law was thinking that Mira was getting engaged to Shahid’s younger brother as there was a huge age gap between the two.
From talking about each other’s bad habits to discussing over their ex, the couple set the couch on fire. Mira said that the actor burps a lot whereas Shahid called her a blanket snatcher.
The actor opined his views on arrange marriages saying that he is the biggest supporter of it. After a fun filled episode, the quiz round was won by Mira whereas Shahid defeated his wife in the rapid fire.
