Karan Johar’s “Student of the Year” was a massive hit and loved by the young crowd to the fullest. Earlier reports suggested that the filmmaker is working on its sequel ‘Student of the Year 2’ with Disha Patani, Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles.
However, the lovely Disha Patani has been replaced by Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, fresh reports reveal. The reports suggest that the filmmakers were looking for a fresh face and that is why Disha is out of the film and Sara bagged the role.
Reportedly, mother Amrita Singh approached KJo recently and expressed her keen interest on her stunning daughter Sara being launched by the popular filmmaker.
This news has made Disha sad as she had kept her aside for “SOTY 2”, revealed a source.
Co-incidentally, this is the second time that Disha has been turned down by a filmmaker for a film, which stars Tiger Shroff. In the past, Disha lost “Baaghi 2” offer, which had Tiger and Shradhha Kapoor in the lead roles.
On the opposite end, the launch of Sara Ali Khan in Bollywood will surely create much buzz across the industry. The stunning star kid has all the qualities to make it big in Hindi cinema.
