Alia Bhatt's 26th birthday celebration
With her every film, Alia Bhatt is raising the bar for herself. The phenomenal actress who has been on roll since the release of Highway surprised everyone with her performance in films like Udta Punjab and Raazi. The recently released Gully Boy in which she played the character of Safeena is no less than a breath of fresh air. Alia's latest achievement is SS Rajamouli's film RRR starring . Ram Charan and Jr NTR in pivotal roles. Talking about the film, the Baahubali director said, “It is going to be a completely fictional tale about the two real heroes. We are mounting on a large scale. I don’t like anything small and everything will be on a huge scale. There is a lot of research....we also need supporting characters also big.'' Well, this won't be just her South debut but will also a completely different experience altogether.
As the actress turns 26 today, she threw an intimate bash last night which was attended by her family members and close friends. Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, parents Soni Razdan and Mahesh Bhatt, and all her BFFs including Masaba Gupta, Akansha Ranjan made her birthday eve special for her. On a related note, Alia has currently three ambitious projects in the pipeline. The actress will next be seen in Abhishek Varman's Kalank in which she is playing the character of Roop. The film scheduled to release on April 17, also features Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles. Other than this, the actress is shooting for Ayan Mukerji's fantasy drama Brahmastra along with beau Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. Also, she will be seen in a period drama Takht directed by Karan Johar. The multi-starrer film is currently in pre-production phase.
