Gurmehar Kaur, the 20-year-old girl Delhi University student took to Twitter today and responded to Randeep Hooda's interview with a leading daily where the actor said that he should have been more careful.
The “Highway” actor said that it wasn't gender specific and he has always been against “politicisation” of personal opinions. He also said that he since he is a public figure trolling is not something new for him but for a young girl like Gurmehar she must have felt really bad.
Gurmehar, daughter of an Indian Army martyr Captain Mandeep Singh spearheaded a social media campaign against the ABVP’s violence in DU recently, ex-cricketer Virender Sehwag and actor Randeep got embroiled in the issue following their tweets that many accused as having a ‘bullying tone’ to them.
Now, when Randeep spoke again and played the “careful card”, Gurmehar reacted to the actor’s justification quote through her Twitter handle and said, “I didn’t tweet my hands did”.
Her comeback tweet has grabbed a number of eyeballs. While some are showering heaps of praises on her, others were very critical and trolled her.
