After Apna Time Aayega song, Gully Boy makers have dropped a new song today. Titled Apni Gully Mein, the song showcases Ranveer Singh’s rapping skills and, we must say that the Padmaavat actor has done full justice to his rapper avatar. Sung by Ranveer, DIVINE and Naezy, the song is completely edgy and will make you fall in love with street rappers.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Ranveer Singh shared Gully Boy Apni Gully Mein Song with a caption that read, “#MereGullyMein Out Now!”.

Ranveer Singh’s rapping skills have already been highly appreciated by the netizens. The lyrics of the song have the true Mumbai essence and you cannot help but tap your feet to this crazy rap

Gully Boy will see the fresh pairing of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh onscreen. Alia and Kalki Koechlin, play contrasting love interests. While Alia will be seen playing a lively young girl from a background similar to that of Ranveer Sing's character in the film. Kalki will portray the success he aspires to.

Director Zoya Akhtar Zoya said Gully Boy is not a biopic of underground rappers Divine and Naezy but a fictional account of the rap culture.

"It is not a biopic on Divine and Naezy. It is a fictional story. It is inspired by them and their music. They worked with us on the script to make it authentic. There are lot of things from their life but it is not a biopic."

Zoya said she was shocked when she learnt how big the rap culture is in India and feels they should be given the right platform to showcase their talent.  "It is big in India, on YouTube the artistes have 22 million views. It is just that they are not given the platform they should be given."

Gully Boy is slated to release on February 14.
