Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again is unstoppable and doing wonders at the box office. The film earned Rs. 30.14 crore on its opening day securing its place on the list of top five openers of the year. The weekend turned out to be in favour of the film. The movie minted Rs 28.37 cr on Saturday. According to a report on BoxOfficeIndia.com, Ajay Devgn starrer has collected Rs 28.50 cr on Sunday making its total Rs 87.1 crore (approx.).
It goes without saying that the film will soon enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club. Well, this is indeed a great news for movie buffs. This is known to all that this year not many movies performed well at the box office. But, seems like the box office’s dry spell has been ended now.
Golmaal Again was fighting the box office battle with Aamir Khan starrer Secret Superstar. Both the movies are performing well at the box office. But, looking at the collection, Golmaal Again has clearly won the battle.
Golmaal Again was the fourth instalment of the franchise. The previous three parts received great response from movie buffs. Along with Ajay, the film also features Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles.
