Golmaal Again, despite the mixed reviews from the critics, raked in Rs. 30 crore in just one day. Rohit Shetty’s directorial secured a place for itself in five biggest openers of 2017. It ranks next to Baahubali: The Conclusion replacing Salman Khan’s Tubelight. Extreme popularity of Golmaal franchise and the festive season is said to be the reason behind it. After having a series of content-driven films, Indian audience was craving for a light-hearted comedy, which Rohit Shetty has his hands-on.

According to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film Golmaal Again brought a tsunami of box office numbers. He calls the film a ‘superhit’ with ‘zabardast entertainment’.

Golmaal Again stars Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. Neil Nitin Mukesh is also seen in a guest appearance. Golmaal Again marks 10th film collaboration of Ajay Devgn with Rohit Shetty.

Last week, film’s actress Parineeti Chopra shared her experience working with Rohit Shetty on Instagram. She wrote:

Aamir Khan tweeted a picture with Ajay Devgn, speaking appreciative of Golmaal Again. Impressed by this, Rohit Shetty shared the tweet on his Instagram, saying that this is the way films should be promoted in Bollywood.
