After creating awareness regarding menstrual hygiene in his last release PadMan, actor Akshay Kumar is all set to tell the story of India's first gold medal post-independence at the Olympics with his upcoming film Gold. The new poster of the movie is unveiled today by Farhan Akhtar and it totally looks intriguing. Khiladi Kumar can be seen holding tricolour close to his heart with pride shining in his eyes.
Farhan took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the poster. He tweeted, “All victories begin with a dream. It fills me with immense joy to present to you the official poster of #Gold, a film that is very close to my heart.”
Written and directed by Reema Kagti, the movie is all set to hit the screens on August 15. Well, this is known to all that Akshay has given some wonderful films in the past. Thus, expectations are high from this film as well. Gold is in the limelight for reasons more than one as it also marks the Bollywood debut of popular telly actress Mouni Roy.
On a related note, after Gold, Akshay will be seen in Kesari alongside Parineeti Chopra. The movie is based on the Battle of Saragarhi.
