Genelia returns to silver screen with ‘Force 2’

Actress Genelia D’Souza’s character died at the end of 2011 action thriller ‘Force’ and as the second instalment of the flick is all set to release this month, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah has finally revealed

Actress Genelia D’Souza’s character died at the end of 2011 action thriller ‘Force’ and as the second instalment of the flick is all set to release this month, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah has finally revealed that the gorgeous actress will be seen doing a guest appearance in ‘Force 2’.

The producer confirmed that Genelia’s part in the sequel is a guest appearance and informed that her role is important to the film’s plot. He said that Genelia’s character is beautifully scripted in the flick and she will take the story forward.

Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah stated, “We wrote something interesting especially for her and her role has been beautifully woven into the script. It's a guest appearance but it is crucial to the plot. She helps John's character and the story to move forward."

Talking about the Bollywood diva’s character in ‘Force’, he said that actress’ character was one of the most loved characters in the prequel. He went on to say that John and Genelia’s on-screen chemistry in the first instalment was appreciated by the audience.

 

This will be Genelia’s first film post she gave birth to her second child Riaan.

Directed by Abhinay Deo, ‘Force 2’ features Sonakshi Sinha alongside John Abraham. The actor will be seen reprising his role of ACP Yashvardhan whereas Sonakshi will play the role of a RAW agent. The flick is scheduled for November 18 release.
