Govida and Varun Sharma on the poster of Fryday
Comedy king Govinda and our favourite Choocha aka Varun Sharma are collaborating and beware, it is a laughter riot. The first look of their film Fryday is out and it will tickle your funny bone. Directed by Dolly Ki Doli fame Abhishek Dogra, the movie will hit theatres on May 11.
Varun, whose last release Fukrey Returns minted over Rs 100 crore at the box office is known for his cute looks and comic timing. The movie can also be touted as a perfect comeback for Govinda considering that his last film Aa Gaya Hero tanked at the box office. Tweeting the video poster, Inbox Pictures wrote, ''Is Chichi cooking Chucha on FRYDAY? See whats cooking up with this JODI in theatres on 11th May. Here's the #FrydayPoster.'' Going by the poster, it seems that Govinda is playing the role of a troublemaker and Varun essaying a water purifier salesman. The tagline says, ''Jhooth Becho''.Meanwhile, Fryday will lock horns with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal's Raazi. Both the movies belong to completely different genres and have their own audience.
For unversed, Abhishek Dogra's last movie Dolly Ki Doli also had Varun in it. The movie is being produced by Sajid Qureshi.
