John Abraham NOT to promote ‘Force 2’ on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 10. Here’s why

The ongoing promotions of his upcoming movie ‘Force 2’ are keeping actor John Abraham on his toes lately. The actor, along with his co-stars Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin from the movie, are seen making an appearance on several shows for promoting their movie.

Reports are rife that the team of ‘Force 2’ will also be visiting the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 10’ which is being hosted by superstar Salman Khan. However, if gossip mongers are to be believed, ‘Force 2’ lead actor John Abraham will not be promoting the movie on BB10 owing to his rumoured tiff with Salman.

As per media reports, terms between John and Salman had gone sour ever since the two were said to have a box office clash last year. Salman Khan’s home production ‘Hero’ featuring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty was said to be clashing with Johan Abraham’s ‘Welcome Back’ on September 4. In fact, after John Abraham revealed the release date of ‘Welcome Back’, Salman made a post on micro-blogging site Twitter saying, “Back off. Hero coming on September 4”.

It is being rumoured that in order to avoid the clash with the ‘Dabangg’ star, the makers of ‘Welcome Back’ pushed the release of the movie to September 11 leaving Johan miffed with Salman.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that reports about a tiff between Salman and John are doing the rounds. Earlier, it was stated that the two actors had an argument during a concert in 2006. However, both the actors reportedly patched up later as John had made an appearance on Bigg Boss season 5 along with Akshay Kumar to promote their 2011 release ‘Desi Boyz’. BB5 was then co-hosted by Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan.

While neither John and Salman have spoken about their speculated fallout so far, if rumours turned out to be true, it would rather be an awkward situation for the producers of ‘Force 2’. The movie is produced by Viacom 18, which happens to be the owner of Colors channel that airs Bigg Boss 10.

Directed by Abhinay Deo, ‘Force 2’ is a sequel to John Abraham’s 2011 release ‘Force’. The movie will have John reprising his role from the first instalment, while Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in the role of a R.A.W agent alonf with Tahi Raj Bhashin playing the lead antagonist. ‘Force 2’ is slated to release on November 18.
