Comedy king Kapil Sharma is back with his second Bollywood film Firangi, which is a period-action comedy film. The film has hit the cinemas today and, movie buffs are loving it especially Kapil’s “fantastic performance”. Firangi is Kapil’s second Hindi film after the 2015 flick Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon. Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, Firangi also features Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in pivotal roles. The first song of the film titled Oye Firangi has won hearts everywhere.
The song follows the new journey of Kapil Sharma as he enters the palatial houses in which English officers live. Crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan and composed by Jatinder Shah, the Firangi first song gives a sneak peek at Kapil’s character in the film.
Speaking about Firangi, Kapil Sharma said that audience's love encouraged him to do the second film. He went on to say that people pointed out that his debut movie felt like an extension of his TV show with its gag-a-minute comedy. That's when he thought that the second one should be different. Kapil also felt he shouldn’t dominate every frame in the movie ''To control the quality, I also turned producer for it,'' he added.
