Actress Preity Zinta has lashed out on a leading daily for taking out a fake report that stated that actor Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming web series Inside Edge has one of its characters based on the actress. Preity thrashed the report on social media and said that she is not interested on the show and none of the characters of the web series are related to her. She added that she hasn’t talked to Farhan on this matter.
Preity took to micro-blogging site Twitter to slam the daily. She tweeted, “Dear @dna this is absolutely FAKE NEWS. I have never called up Farhan nor am I interested in the show nor any character is based on me.”
It was reported that the show will have a love making scene between the owner of the team and the boss. This didn’t go down well Preity, who slammed the leading daily for the report.
The report suggested that the actress called producer Farhan and asked him to show the scenes before airing them.
Based on Indian Premiere League, Farhan’s show features Vivek Oberoi and Richa Chadha. Directed by Karan Anshuman, Inside Edge will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from the next month.
