New Delhi: They say believe only half whatever you see. This has come true in IIFA recently.
We saw Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra hugging recently at the IIFA 2016 press conference in Madrid but, reportedly, the scene backstage was quite different.
The reports in media suggest that Priyanka is quite miffed with the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actor. And the reason behind the cold vibes between the two is none other than PC’s Bajirao-Mastani co-star Deepika Padukone.
The cold war, reportedly, started way before the IIFA Awards when Farhan showed interest in bringing Deepika on board instead of ‘Quantico’ girl in superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Don 3.

“Where Deepika and Farhan were bonding off stage, Priyanka and Farhan kept safe distance from each other. They shared the stage together for the press conference and were cordial. Apart from that, they behaved as if they were strangers and that was quite surprising,” a source was quoted by an entertainment portal.
The report published by the portal further suggests that Priyanka’s displeasure with Frahan was quite visible during the event and she didn’t try to hide it.
Interestingly, PeeCee, while returning from IIFA awards, was quizzed about the sequel of ‘Don’ franchise and she had quashed the rumours saying, “As per my knowledge that film is not happening now”.
Well! Seeing the situation, we wonder if Priyanka was really clueless about the movie, or upset over Farhan bringing Deepika onboard.
Let’s see how it turns out to be. But it will not be surprising if Farhan announces the movie with Deepika Padukone anytime soon.
Though, we hope it doesn’t start a cat fight between Deepika and Priyanka as everyone loved them as Kashibai and Mastani.
