Fans always saw Farhan Akhtar and Aditya Roy Kapur as arch enemies, all because of former’s growing closeness with Shradda Kapoor during Rock On 2. According to the rumours, Shraddha’s growing closeness with ex-flame Aditya Roy Kapur has irked Farhan to some bit. But the Lucknow Central-actor posted a picture on Twitter bashing all the rumours regarding his rift with Aditya Roy Kapur. According to DNA, the duo is all set to share the screen space in a film.
Earlier, Mohit Suri confirmed that Farhan Akhtar really liked the script of the film which would be based around father-son relationship. There will be two parallel leads in the film and the sources have revealed that Farhan and Aditya have been finalised for the role.
"Mohit has decided to cast Farhan and Aditya together. He needed a younger actor and when he narrated the script to Adi, he loved it and immediately said yes. Also, after having worked together in Aashqui 2, both the actor and the director wanted to repeat the magic and possibly the success of their last film together. Farhan and Aditya will have separate tracks that will eventually come together," the source revealed.
The source also quashed the rumours that the duo have been fighting over Shraddha Kapoor.
"In fact, Adi and Farhan get along really well. They are excited about working together. The filming begins in January next year. Farhan is prepping and building his body for the film. Adi will also have a lot of bare-body shots, so he's also working out at the gym every day."
Farhan Akhtar will be seen in Ranjit Tiwari-directorial Lucknow Central, which is slated to release on 15 September. The film will be facing tough competition from Kangana Ranaut’s Simran which has been helmed by Hansal Mehta.
