Esha Gupta is all set to start shooting for JP Dutta's war drama "Paltan". The film reunites Esha and Arjun Rampal after their 2012 political drama "Chakravyuh". The actress will slip into the role of Rampal's wife, latest buzz suggests.
"A lot of people see me in the 60's era. And knowing JP sir's love for the country and passion for cinema, I feel honoured to be a part of his film," Esha said in a statement.
"I did 'Chakravyuh' with Arjun, we had a great rapport. And now I'm playing the role of Arjun's wife in 'Paltan'. I'm looking forward to go join the team soon," the 32-year-old actor said.
The actor, last seen in "Commando 2", will start shooting for the film soon.
The film is being directed by J.P. Dutta, known for war-themed films including the National Award winning "Border".
Paltan also features Gurmeet Choudhary, Sonu Sood, Siddhanth Kapoor and Luv Sinha.
Arjun will also be seen in the comedy film Sarvggun Sampanna. The movie, directed by Karan Kashyap, will feature Sonu and Arjun in the lead.
