Actress Sonam Kapoor, who will be sharing the screen space with actor Anil Kapoor after a long gap of 10 years, has shared the picture of their first shot together on social media. The lady was excited, and she thanked the director Shelly Chopra Dhar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra for this opportunity.
Sonam took to social networking site Instagram and wrote, “Ek Ladki ko dekha! My first shot with my father after 10 years in this industry! Thank you @shellychopradhar for writing something compelling enough for me to take the plunge and thank you #vidhuvinodchopra for making it happen!”
The title of the film is taken from the popular song 1942: A Love Story, which also featured Anil. If reports are to be believed, actor Rajkummar Rao, who has earlier worked with Sonam in the 2015 film Dolly Ki Doli, will play her love interest.
The Newton actor will also be working with Anil in Fanne Khan in which he will be seen romancing actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Meanwhile, Sonam is also gearing up for the release of Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man. The movie is all set to hit the screens on February 9.
