The maverick filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is back with another hard-hitting movie Mukkabaaz after critically acclaimed Raman Raghav 2.0 . Mukkabaaz has received rave reviews at Toronto Film Festival, however, its theatrical trailer is yet to release.
Instead the makers have launched an electrifying track, Paintra composed by Nucleya featuring Mumbai-based rapper Divine. The music video doubles as a trailer. Set in the backdrop of boxing, Vineet Kumar, Jimmy Shergil, Ravi Kishan are prominent characters in the film. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who has worked with Kashyap in many projects was completely blown away by the thumping new anthem. He took to Twitter to share his views and wrote, ''Finally an Actor has got his dues paid. I can easily see the efforts and hard work being put in #Paintra from #Mukkabaaz, It is dynamic & It is vibrant.''
Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur gave the much-needed fame and acknowledgement to Nawaz in the industry. Nawaz was recently in controversy due to his autobiography in which he revealed details about his girlfriends and affairs without their consent.
On a related note, the lead actor Vineet has previously worked in Kashyap's Gangs of Waaseypur, Ugly and short film Murabba. Playing the leading lady will be Zoya Hussain.
