Actress Bipasha Basu and her husband Karan Singh Grover recently shot an advertisement for a condom brand and people on social media were quick to react on it. The celebrities were trolled for endorsing the brand and some on the internet also suggested them not to go ahead with this choice. But, seems like the actress is unfazed by the trolling. She revealed to a leading daily that she is doing nothing wrong by endorsing the brand.
Bipasha opened up on the issue in an interview to mid-day. She stated that it is today’s need to create awareness on the subject. She said, “The idea is to create awareness on the subject; it's the need of the hour. I am doing no wrong by endorsing condoms.”
Talking about the ad, the lady said that she said yes for the ad as it was being shot by one of the most trusted photographers and ad-filmmaker, Prasad Naik. Thus, she was sure that the ad would be shot beautifully.
However, it seems that it didn’t go down well with people on social media.
On a related note, Bipasha and Karan were last seen together in 2015 film Alone. The stars got married in 2016.
