Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is receiving praises and love for his latest release ‘Raees’ from both the B-Town and audience. Then, how can his best friend and filmmaker Karan Johar not be a part of it. The director applauded SRK’s work in ‘Raees’ and in return King Khan suggested him to make sports and action movies.
The director took to micro blogging site Twitter to appreciate Shah Rukh’s gangster avatar in ‘Raees’. The superstar who is known for his witty and funny remarks asked him to make action movie ‘Dishoom Dishoom Hota Hai’. SRK who has previously worked with Karan in many movies said that he has done action scenes in KJo’s movies where he ran after actresses.
Karan revealed that it was SRK who directed basket ball scenes in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. The actor then gave the idea to make sports drama. Shah Rukh also joked about Karan’s movies that started with letter K.
Recently, Shah Rukh launched the autobiography of Karan ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ and also said many nice things about the filmmaker. Over the years, both the celebrities have evolved as friends. Shah Rukh even appeared for a cameo in Karan’s directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
On a related note, directed by Rahul Dholakiya, ‘Raees’ also featured Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles. The movie is doing good at the box office.
