After releasing hot air balloon featuring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in Los Angeles, the makers of 2.0 film have come up with its making video. The 1-minute-47-seconds long clip shows some candid shots of Rajinikanth and Akshay on the sets of the film. From the making of the video, it’s quite clear that the audiences are in for a big surprise. The film is a sequel of Shankar’s Robot which had Rajinikanth in double roles. The movie also stars Amy Jackson in a pivotal role.
Taking to his Twitter account, filmmaker Shankar Shanmugham shared the 2.0 making video. 2.0 is touted to be one of the most expensive films of the Indian cinema. It is being said that Rs 40 crore are spent only on the film’s promotions.
The makers are planning to promote the film in other countries and will be hosting a series of events for it. The release date of the film has been pushed and it will hit the screens next year. It is yet to be seen if the film manages to win hearts of movie buffs.Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has given the music of the film. 2.0 is directed by filmmaker Shankar. The project is bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
The multilingual action drama film which will feature Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead role will hit the theatres in January next year. It is a sequel to Endhiran/Robot.
