Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to the Leelavati Hospital because of the complaint of swelling in one of his legs. The actor took to Twitter to inform about his health and also thanked his fans for their wishes. He also appreciated the work of doctors in the hospital.
Dilip informed his fans that he was admitted in the hospital for regular check-up. He tweeted, “Feeling much better now. Was admitted to Lilavati hospital for routine checkup. Your prayers are with me.”
The actor thanked all his well wishers for their blessings. He tweeted, “Health is wealth said somebody. Mein aap sabhi ka mashkoor hoon ki aapne hamesha apni duaon mein mujhe yaad rakha.”
Dilip was kept under the observance of Dr. S Ghokale, Dr. Nitin Ghokale and Dr. R. Sharma. He talked about the doctors in his another tweet, “A wonderful team of doctors here along with my personal physicians Dr. S Ghokale, Dr. Nitin Ghokale and Dr. R. Sharma.”
Dilip got married to Saira Banu in 1966. The 94-year-old actor has given many iconic movies in his career. He was last seen in ‘Qila’ in 1998. He was honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
