After news of Baahubali fame actor Prabhas demanding a whopping Rs 20 crore for doing a Karan Johar film went viral, the director has replied with a satirical tweet. After the grand success of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion, Prabhas emerged as one of the most popular actors and, it was then that reports of Karan Johar signing the 38-year-old actor for a Bollywood film started doing the rounds. However, few days back buzz suggested that since Prabhas was demanding a huge amount, Karan dropped the film as a whole. Now, KJo who has slammed several celebrities in the past, took to his Twitter handle and said, “Dear Ambition..if you have to achieve your full potential stay away from your arch nemesis…Comparison!”.
“Prabhas had devoted five years of his life to the two Baahubali films and it was only fair that he would want to cash in on his new success. Prabhas has clearly out-priced himself from Bollywood. After Baahubali and its sequel, Karan was keen to launch Prabhas in Hindi cinema. But on seeing the price he was asking, Karan has decided to abandon the idea of launching him”, a source was quoted as saying to DNA.
Amid all such rumours, Prabhas will be seen next in Saaho, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey and Mandira Bedi. Written and directed by Sujeeth Reddy, the mega budget film will release in three languages Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. Saaho is slated to release in 2018.
The first look of Saaho was shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on the special occasion of Prabhas's birthday. In the picture, the actor can be seen in all black avatar hiding his face. This has left movie buffs wanting for more.
