Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi featuring Kangana Ranaut is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The period drama is being directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain. The film also stars Ankita Lokhande, Sonu Sood, Atul Kulkarni and Jisshu Sengupta. Manikarnika’s release date has been in the news for quite some time now. Eariler it was said that the film will release in April but later the makers announced that it has been postponed.
Now Ankita, who plays a soldier, Jhalkari Bai in the army of Rani Laxmibai, might have spilt beans about Manikarnika’s release date.
"My film is releasing on August 3. You will get to see the work I did in the movie on August 3. I hope that you guys have appreciated my work up until now. So hopefully, you like my work in ‘Manikarnika’ as well. I hope this release date is finale as I am eagerly waiting for the movie as well”, the actress was quoted as saying in a media interaction.
Meanwhile, the first look of Ankita Lokhande from Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi has been leaked from the sets of the film, according to reports. She is reportedly nearing completion of her part of the shooting. Ankita is seen clad in a sari in the picture.
