After his acquittal in the Arms Act case yesterday, superstar Salman Khan is in good space. But, it seems that his friendship with actor Ajay Devgn is in danger. Salman recently announced a joint venture with filmmaker Karan Johar that will feature actor Akshay Kumar as the main lead. Rumours were rife that the story of the flick was similar to Ajay’s film. Now, latest reports suggest that the latter was so hurt that he sent an emotional message to the superstar.
At the starting of the year, Salman made an announcement that he would be co-producing a film with Karan. The movie that will reportedly be based on the ‘Battle Of Saragarhi’ will feature Akshay as the protagonist. This news gave a big shock to Ajay who was working on 'Sons Of Sardaar: Battle Of Saragarhi’ for the last few years that also had Randeep Hooda on boards.
Reportedly, Ajay was so shocked with the news that he sent an emotional message to his friend saying that he didn’t expect this from him. Reports further said that the ‘Shivaay’ actor also requested Bhaijaan not to go ahead with the story.
However, Ajay denied all these rumours indirectly through his recent tweet. He requested not to cook such type of stories.
Well, nothing is constant in Bollywood not even friendships. Now, if these reports turn out to be true then the industry will lose another BFFs.
Previously, Karan’s film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ clashed with Ajay’s ‘Shivaay’ at the box office. Recently, the ace director opened up with his tiff with the actor in his autobiography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’.
On the other hand, Salman has always given more importance to friendship. Now, only the coming time will decide the fate of movies and friendships.
