Superstar Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Dangal’. The actor was optimistic that his upcoming film will not get affected by demonetization. He also coined his opinion on making the flick tax-free.
The ‘PK’ actor admitted that ‘Rock On 2’became the victim of demonetization but he also laid emphasis on the business of ‘Dear Zindagi’ saying that its decent collection indicated that things are steadily getting back to normal. Thus, he was hopeful about the situation getting better in coming days.
The actor further said that the film fell in a tax redemption category. However, he was not sure whether film would get tax free but he assured that they were applying for it.
The business of some films got affected by demonetization. However, Aamir previously stated that demonetization affecting his film would be a very small thing for him as abolishing Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes was a right decision to curb black money.
Aamir’s hard work for the flick was clearly visible in flick’s trailer. From his look to his dialogues, the actor proved that why Bollywood calls him Mr. Perfectionist.
‘Dangal’ is the real life story of Mahavir Singh Phogat directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Besides Aamir, the flick also features Sakshi Tanwar and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on December 23.
