Reportedly, Deepika had high hopes about winning the National Award. However, the diva was extremely shocked after she lost the award to arch enemy Kangana Ranaut and went on to sulk for hours.
According to a blind article published in an entertainment portal, “The lady had predicted her win to her team and planned her busy work schedule accordingly. She was certain that since she won big at most awards she would also bag this one. Unfortunately for her one of her arch rivals won. And seems like the lady made her displeasure known to everyone around. The actress we hear had made a stop just to ensure she’s around to pick the award. And when she heard of the news that another heroine had bagged the honour she literally threw her mobile phone and stayed locked in her vanity van for the next few hours. Of course the actress is known to have impeccable manners at most times, therefore everyone taken aback with her behaviour. She miffed a good filmmaker friend with her sulk mode as she refused to to celebrate others happy moments.”
