New Delhi: Bollywood’s bombshell Deepika Padukone has just wrapped the shoot for her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’. The diva is returning home after three months of her shooting schedule in Canada.
And for all those who were wondering what will be DPs next venture in Bollywood, we have an answer for you.
Well! Deepika Padukone is going to make a special appearance in Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s Raabta. As per reports, DP will be performing an item number in the movie directed by Dinesh Vijan.
Interestingly, Vijan takes Deepika as her lucky mascot. She has worked with him in Love Aaj Kal, Cocktail and Finding Fanny and now she will be a part of this film too.
“Deepika is Dinesh’s lucky mascot. When he shared the idea with her, she immediately came on board,” reveals a source close to the development.
The song, reportedly, will be a peppy number composed by Pritam. It will be shot on June 1 in Budapest while rehearsals are expected to begin soon.
Post that, Deepika is expected to team up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for period drama ‘Padmavati. The reports are rife that SLB will rope in Deepika and Ranveer, for the third time, for the project.
