Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor to come together again for a Luv Ranjan film?
Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor had broken up a long time ago. The actress has started a new chapter of her life with Ranveer Singh while Ranbir has moved on with Alia Bhatt. However, still the fans want to see them together on the silverscreen. According to a report in a leading portal, Deepika and Ranbir might reunite again for a film. It’s going to be a Luv Ranjan directorial. The film will also have Ajay Devgn in an important role. However, not much is known about the project yet. The makers are planning to have Deepika as the female lead of the film.
A source was quote telling Bollywood Hungama, “In spite of two solid male stars, Ranjan’s film has a terrific role for the female lead. Deepika is the first choice and there’s no reason why she would turn down a plum role.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone were last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha which was a critical hit though not commercial. They were also casted together in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and the film turned out to be a superhit. Their onscreen chemistry is loved by their fans and everyone would be really delighted to know that their favourite couple is coming back on silverscreen together.
The Luv Ranjan film is yet to be titled. However, after Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety success, another fun-packed film is expected.
