With positive reviews from critics and tremendous response from the audience, Aamir Khan strarrer ‘Dangal’ entered the coveted 100 crore club in just three days. Now, the film has crossed another milestone. Its worldwide collection has reached Rs 400 crore.
The film managed to fetch Rs 270 crore till now in the domestic box office. Whereas, in the overseas market, ‘Dangal’ has earned Rs 141.60 crore. Thus, its overall collection is more than Rs. 400 crore till now.
Today, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the international box office details of the flick. He tweeted, “#Dangal continues to take GIANT STRIDES... Crosses $ 20 million... OVERSEAS - Total till Sun, 1 Jan: $ 20.82 million [₹ 141.60 cr].”
The film recently broke one more record when it fetched Rs 18.59 crore on its 8th day, and became the only film that has earned this much amount on its 8th day.
From critics to celebrities, everyone has applauded Aamir’s performance in the flick.
The actor gave his blood, sweat, and tears to the project. Besides Aamir, film also featured Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra and Sakshi Tanwar who had given some amazing performances.
Based on the story of Mahavir Singh Phogat, ‘Dangal’ was directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
